At Hafslund, we know the power of water. When we keep Norway’s national team players hydrated, the power of water meets the power of football.

“Both Hafslund and the NFF provide energy that is vital to society. We supply renewable hydropower that keeps society running day to day, while football inspires passion, brings people together and creates unforgettable moments. What we share is power, teamwork, collaboration and a commitment to benefiting society,” says Kristian Kjelman, Head of Sponsorship at Hafslund.

Through this partnership, we at Hafslund aim to build on our commitment to sport and the joy it brings. Hafslund already sponsors several sports teams and clubs in the areas where we operate. This partnership with the NFF takes our commitment one step further, to the national level.

– We greatly appreciate all our partners, but we have to admit that it is particularly exciting for us to be able to help Norway’s national football team perform at its very best. And not least, the partnership also illustrates the important role hydropower plays in society as a driving force for activity, value creation and development throughout Norway, says Kristian Kjelman.

As part of the agreement, Hafslund is the new official drinking water supplier to Norway’s national football teams. This means that the men’s and women’s national teams, youth teams, coaches and support staff will stay hydrated with “Vannkraft” from Hafslund during matches and training sessions.
