What is it like to be young at Hafslund?
Community in Hafslund Spire
At Hafslund, we have over 225 employees under the age of 35—and the number is constantly growing! To support them at the beginning of their careers, we have established an internal program called Hafslund Spire. This initiative is aimed at building engagement and community among our young employees across the entire group.
The program includes major gatherings a couple of times a year, where we offer both professional content and social activities after work, distributed across various locations. Additionally, we offer local meeting places with a social character, such as padel tennis, sauna visits, and payday meetups.
Practical summer job
Around the turn of the year, we advertise practical summer jobs. This is for those who want to experience what it is like to work in a relevant position even before you have finished your studies.
Summer intern
Every autumn, we open applications for our summer internship for the upcoming summer. The internship is a great opportunity for those who want to work on exciting business cases. Examples of projects could be solar cells on grey areas, the use of AI in the energy system, or modeling and simulation of power plants. Together with 2-3 other students, supported by engaged professional mentors, you will spend the summer diving into a problem, before finally presenting your results to the entire group.
