The board
The Hafslund board consists of eight members, three of whom are elected by the employees. Here is an overview of all our board members.
The board has appointed an audit committee and a compensation committee as subcommittees to the board.
Odd Arild Grefstad
Board leader
Grefstad has extensive experience in the finance and insurance industry, and has been CEO of Storebrand ASA since 2012. He is also a board member of Finans Norge and Skift. Before becoming CEO of Storebrand, Grefstad held a number of key management positions in the group, including CFO of Storebrand ASA and CEO of Storebrand Livsforsikring.
Grefstad is a certified public accountant and authorized financial analyst (AFA) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Administration from Trondheim School of Economics (TØH).
Bjørn Erik Næss
Board member
Bjørn Erik Næss left his position as CFO in DNB ASA on 1 March 2017, a position he held for nine years. Previously, he was executive director and CFO at Aker Kværner ASA, and held similar positions at Orkla and Carlsberg (Denmark).
Næss has extensive experience from management positions in Norway and internationally over the past 25 years. He is educated at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and has completed a management program at Darden Business School in the USA.
Maria Tallaksen
Board member
Maria Tallaksen was partner in Altor Equity Partners until December 2023. Tallaksen has extensive experience of sitting as a board member in both Nordic and international companies and managing ownership positions. Today she sits as a board member in Scatec ASA, Vow ASA and SATS ASA.
Kristin Færøvik
Board member
Kristin has broad board experience and was managing director of Lundin Energy Norway until December 2021. Today she is a board member of Kongsberg Gruppen ASA, Shearwater Geoservices AS, Bunker Holding, Edge Navigation AS and BlueNord ASA.
Stian Berger Røsland
Board member
Røsland is a lawyer and was the Finance Councillor in Oslo from 2007-2009 and the City Council Leader of Oslo from 2009 to 2015. He holds a law degree from the University of Oslo and works as a partner at the law firm Selmer, where he is head of the real estate department. The combination of political experience and legal expertise makes him well-equipped as a board member in Hafslund. Røsland replaces Bård Vegar Solhjell, who has become the new leader of the industry organization Fornybar Norge.
Håkon Rustad
Employee elected board member
Håkon Rustad was employed by Eidsiva Vannkraft in 2006. Rustad has a Master's in Energy and Environment from NTNU in Trondheim. He is currently responsible for grids. Rustad has broad experience from physical management of power production, regulation of grid operations and development of water and wind power projects. Rustad is currently a trustee for Tekna's business group in Hafslund.
Ellen Nordstrand Veskje
Employee elected board member
Ellen Nordstrand Veskje was employed by Opplandskraft in 1994, and has since worked at the operations center in Lillehammer as an operations engineer. She has her education from Gjøvik College of Engineering, in the field of electric power. She has broad experience in the operation and maintenance of power plants and control systems. She has also held board positions in Opplandskraft, Eidsiva Vannkraft and Hafslund Kraft, and is currently a safety representative in the office building in Lillehammer.
Halvor Kr. Halvorsen
Employee elected board member
Halvor Kr. Halvorsen was employed by E-CO Vannkraft AS in 2008. Halvorsen graduated in civil engineering from NTNU in 1989 and has an EMBA in financial management and management from NHH in 2006. He is head of the watercourse environment and safety department at Hafslund Kraft and general manager of the Association for the regulation of the Hallingdalsvassdragets. He has previously worked at NVE and Asplan Viak.
